Council remanded hotel SUP back to planning commission after applicant submitted new materials; staff recommended approval

Staff described the new materials as more detailed information on the extended-stay product, room-night costs and presentations by Hilton representatives and noted that the additional materials did not materially change staff's analysis but provided context that council wanted the commission to hear.
As staff explained: "it was information about, more in detail about the extended stay, the cost of certain room nights... I think they brought in people actually from Hilton company, to speak more on it" (Staff member (speaker 2)). Staff reiterated its recommendation for approval and said the SUP will be placed on the Town Council agenda for May 19.
