At the June 18 meeting, the chair updated the board that committee appointments have been completed after a large applicant pool — "approximately 600 people" — and that notifications to new committee members have been sent pending final affirmations. The board will hold onboarding activities next week, using the time previously reserved for the June board officer hour, to introduce new members to OPTN360 and to the mission and responsibilities of their committees.
Chair John McGee said visiting board member assignments to committees will remain unchanged for the upcoming term beginning July 1 to preserve continuity during the transition period. The board also noted that the appointment of an assistant secretary was tabled for a future meeting.
