Cheatham described transportation arrangements that will affect Overland Park residents, including a free airport express shuttle and the JoCo United Link Circulator, which will include six Overland Park stops and two pick-up sites for buses to Fan Fest and the stadium. She encouraged residents to use two engagement opportunities posted on the city's website: a Safe Streets for All plan (with an interactive crash map and a survey) and an update to the Unified Development Ordinance, both open through April 30.
Cheatham highlighted a local example of outreach: two Girl Scouts had expressed concerns about an unsafe crosswalk near John Diemer Elementary, and she encouraged them and other residents to use the Safe Streets interactive map to flag safety priorities.
