Sendero resident urges council action on low water pressure, speeding and construction impacts

During the public-comment period, Noreen Federigan, president of the Sendero HOA (5016 Twin Summit Drive), told the council that her neighborhood has experienced a significant drop in water pressure — in some faucets reduced to "somewhat of a trickle" — and cited ongoing construction as a possible cause. She asked the city to investigate and provide residents with information about when road work and related disruptions will conclude.

Federigan also raised traffic-safety concerns at the Koblen area, asking for speed-limit signs or temporary measures to reduce dangerous speeding near children and noting dead animals on the road. The mayor connected her with staff (Rigo) at the meeting and requested contact details so staff could follow up. Federigan said residents were not consulted about some construction activities that placed porta-potties in driveways and created sand piles; the mayor said the issue was not on the meeting agenda but staff would follow up and the item could be added to a future agenda if needed.
