Commissioners approve five-valve replacements on Mountain Drive ahead of repaving

The board authorized LRW to replace four existing valves and install a new fifth valve on Mountain Drive to prepare for an upcoming road resurfacing. Commissioner Lou Combe made the motion, Brian McCall seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The work will be billed on a time-and-materials basis per the operator contract.
Tom Mason will coordinate timing with the town (contact Megan/Kyle at Gilford DPW) and provide a ballpark cost estimate to Treasurer Todd Maddock for cash‑flow planning. Commissioners emphasized sequencing the valve work with other near-term projects, including Pump Station 6 repairs.
