District to confirm leak location with acoustic tests before committing to $11,200 clearing quote

Tom Mason reported LRW obtained a quote to clear and chip roughly 800–1,000 feet of right-of-way (20 feet wide) for $11,200 to access the suspected leak area.
Commissioners decided to validate the leak location with acoustic detection and valve isolation tests before committing to clearing. Lou Combe and Rich Haidul will seek competing tree-cutting quotes and provide them to Brian McCall. Tom Mason will proceed with acoustic/valve isolation diagnostics and present findings at the next meeting to inform whether clearing is necessary.
