The Chair called the Stafford Municipal School Board Trust Team special call to order on Feb. 12, 2026, in Stafford and announced the meeting would begin with public comment before moving to a closed session. "Call to order Stafford Municipal School Board Trust Team special call meeting," the Chair said. The Chair asked Miss Gilmore if there were any public comments; after hearing none, the Chair moved the meeting to a closed session and cited the Texas open meetings law.
In the meeting record the Chair stated, "Closed meetings will be held for the purposes authorized by Texas meeting open act," and read a transcript reference to provisions of the Texas Government Code. The board later returned from closed session and the Chair asked for a motion to adjourn.
