Kelly said the city received a $33,999 reimbursement for pay app #1 and expects rapid reimbursement for subsequent applications; pay app #2 was approved in the amount of $90,528 and pay app #3 for $81,500. Staff explained remaining work includes replacement drive gears, chain and neoprene scum wiper blades, with parts on order from EnviroDyne.
Council members asked about the funding source for the interim expenditures; Kelly said the costs are covered from the sewer sinking fund and will be reimbursed, noting reimbursement typically arrives within two to three weeks. "Within 2 to 3 weeks," Kelly said, describing the typical reimbursement timeline. The motion to approve the payments passed on roll call.
