City staff presented progress and payment requests for the Hickman Pickleball Park. Kelly said site work is about 87% complete, underground utilities 83% complete, irrigation 30% complete, sidewalks and paving 11% complete and the pickleball courts about 5% complete as the contractor installs post-tension posts. The council approved Certificate #2 to Raughey General Contractors for $87,245.15 and Certificate #3 for $60,182.50.
Kelly outlined a schedule that shows electrical finishes, final grade/seed irrigation by late August, final inspections at the end of August and substantial completion around early September, subject to concrete curing times. "They're really getting some stuff done now," Kelly said, noting the underground utility progress from prior pay apps.
