Resident urges Juneteenth acknowledgement; council directs staff to discuss promotion

Thompson said she is prepared to help and provide perspective and support. The council did not allocate funds at the meeting; it directed staff to consider how to better promote the holiday and explore creative outreach, including video or social content.
