At the July 28 meeting the clerk read three ordinances for introduction. Ordinance 26-2026 would adopt a redevelopment plan for 156 East Cedar Street (Block 3000 Lot 1.01); Ordinance 27-2026 would amend Chapter 3-16 on water meters and meter-use charges; and Ordinance 28-2026 would amend Chapter 2-51 concerning sewer fees and charges.
Council members moved and seconded each ordinance for introduction and the clerk recorded roll calls; the public hearings for each were scheduled for August 11, 2026. No substantive debate or public testimony on these items occurred during the July 28 meeting.
Residents and interested parties who wish to comment at the public hearings will be able to do so on August 11 following the published notices.
