The board approved the final plat for Bighorn L and R Ranch, a boundary plat that revises lot lines among three homestead-entry-survey (HES) parcels near Highway 85 and Greenview Estates. Staff described Tract 3 as a 25-acre parcel and reported that the combined remainder of the parcels totals about 422.792 acres. "The remainder of all 3 of those being combined is gonna be 422.792 acres," Amber said while explaining the plat and potential future subdivision patterns.
Board members discussed Forest Service input concerning an easement used as a hiking trail that may need relocation if road access changes with future subdivision; staff said the Forest Service’s comments will be addressed when subdivision-level plans are submitted. The board approved the final plat by voice vote and noted that future subdivision reviews will include entrance, fire-plan, and road-profile discussions.
