Board removes, corrects and then approves consent-agenda appointment (Jessica Chiu)

The consent agenda was later considered with the requested change; a board member moved to approve the consent agenda with the update and the board voted in favor. The appointment that had been removed (listed with an incorrect name) was brought back with the corrected name, and the board approved the appointment of Jessica Chiu by voice vote.
"I'd like to request that we remove the consent agenda item number 12. It was to Lisa Monje, instructional team leader. The incorrect name was placed," a board member said when requesting the removal. After the correction, the board approved the appointment and closed the meeting.
