Princeton council approves $150,272 pavement condition assessment

Councilmember Brian (speaker 6) said the infrastructure and operations and traffic safety committees strongly endorsed the study and noted the last assessment was conducted three to four years ago. "This is going to take place, and I believe it's just a little bit, sort of an enhanced study, that will pay particular attention to surface condition in addition to the other factors," he said. The resolution moved on a voice vote after brief discussion.
The council did not commit construction funds with this authorization; staff said the assessment will produce recommendations that could lead to future public bids for reconstruction, resurfacing, or preservation. The project amount and vendor were included in Resolution 26-213.
