Board approves hall fundraiser rodeo license for Hallam Volunteer Fire and SDL for Meier’s reception

The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved two special designated license applications at its July 28 meeting. The Hallam Volunteer Fire and Rescue Inc received approval for a fundraiser rodeo scheduled Sept. 12, 2026, at the Randy Adams Memorial Rodeo Arena; Tyler Stehlik, the volunteer group's vice president, told the board proceeds will go to equipment purchases for the department.
Separately, the board approved a special designated license for Meier’s Cork n Bottle to hold a reception on Oct. 9, 2026, at Roca Ridge. Both motions passed by 4-0 votes with Commissioner Matt Schulte absent.
