The court amended a motion to accept proposals, award the contract to Summit and authorize staff to begin negotiations; the vote was 5–0.
On a separate item, staff reviewed RFQ results for professional engineering services related to the flood-warning-system infrastructure project funded by a $1,000,000 SB3 (Texas Water Development Board) grant. Streamline Engineering LLC was identified as the highest-ranked firm based on experience, teaming partners and related projects; the court authorized negotiations with Streamline and noted any contract would return to the court for final execution.
