Robert Wilson, Fossil’s senior vice president of global operations, told the council the site will be a regional distribution hub and is expected to bring about 110 employees to Sunnyvale. "We're actually bringing, from a business standpoint, we're bringing a little bit over a 110 employees, to the site here," he said. Council members asked about tax consequences and truck traffic; staff said they will analyze the potential ad valorem tax impact related to the FTZ exemption and return with a resolution. Several council members indicated they were comfortable directing staff to prepare a letter of support and to bring the item back on the consent agenda for formal action.
