Dr. Stevens told the council he was "already 3 weeks in" and called the district's responsibility a stewardship belonging to the community and trustees. Trustees said they expect the superintendent to work closely with the city as budgeting and facilities work proceeds. The council offered welcome remarks and took a photo with Stevens after introductions.
