Stafford Center reports sold-out nights and an expanding summer festival schedule

He emphasized the venue’s role in bringing out-of-area visitors and promoting local businesses: May 1–2 shows, May 8 'Together We Shine' (16 performing groups, 283 performers), a May 15 fundraiser, a June 19 Juneteenth celebration, and a July 3–4 outdoor festival with a fireworks show following a Fort Bend Symphony performance.
"Stafford Center is your crown jewel," Blom said, stressing the branding and economic benefits of attracting nonlocal audiences. Board members and presenters noted that drawing visitors supports downtown restaurants, gas stations and other businesses; staff also said Placer AI could help measure the out-of-area impact of major events. The board thanked the center staff and promoters and encouraged resident attendance.
