The Wolcott Commission on Veteran Advocacy voted unanimously July 29 to relocate the commission’s brick memorial to the Town Green or, if required, to Wolcott Town Hall pending approval from Mayor Thomas G. Dunn. Chairman Brett Muccino proposed the move and said commissioners agreed the Town Green would be the best location.
Kelly Mazza moved to authorize the relocation and James Natale seconded the motion; the commission carried it unanimously. Muccino noted the move will require the mayor’s sign-off before any work begins. The commission did not set a timeline for the relocation during the meeting.
