Martha “Muffy” Carter, chair of the Watershed Management Plan Subcommittee of the Lake Management Advisory Committee, opened a June 3 phone check-in to review progress on the WMP update and confirmed new draft milestones. The consultant, Carl Nielson of Wilcox & Barton, has just started drafting the document, and the subcommittee set a first-draft deadline of June 17, 2026, with member comments due by June 20 and a second draft circulated to LMAC members by June 24.
The revised schedule calls for discussion at the LMAC meeting on July 1, a third draft around July 15, a penultimate draft roughly between Aug. 30 and Sept. 15, and a final document by Sept. 30, 2026. Committee members said the revised timeline places the project about one quarter behind the original plan; Henry Beck was noted as unavailable for the June review window (June 5–28).
