A county official (Commissioner S6) updated the board on road maintenance and the Seagan Hollow Bridge project, and warned of service reductions tied to recent budget cuts.
"Seagan Hollow Bridge is on track to be completed by September, so they're moving along pretty good," S6 said, adding completion depends on weather. He also reported chip-seal work and pothole repairs are underway and that the county is not mowing at the moment because of budget constraints; the board will review the budget next month to consider options.
S6 briefed commissioners on several related items including procurement steps for the Timberlake campground environmental assessment and the need to submit a drawdown request by August 21 for ready funding. Commissioners acknowledged the updates and had no further action at the meeting.
