Council approves Pecan Ridge site plan for four new buildings at 606 US‑80

Staff presented the detailed site plan for Pecan Ridge Phase 2: four new metal multi‑tenant buildings, internal drives and parking, required paving of previously unimproved surfaces, detention and retaining walls, and landscape buffers including a 50‑foot front buffer with shade trees.
Derek Salzer, the project representative, emphasized that bay doors for the new buildings would be oriented interior to the site and that the project will bring unimproved gravel drives into compliance by paving fire lanes and parking. Council heard resident questions about building heights and setbacks; staff confirmed new buildings meet UDO height limits and that the closest building is roughly 50–53 feet from the nearest residential property.
Council Member Garland moved to approve the site plan J1; Council Member Clark seconded and the motion passed 5–0.
