CIP adjusted after storm: Explorer moved up, skid steer delayed, parking‑lot and skate‑park plans confirmed

Staff also highlighted facilities and park projects: the Borough Hall parking lot (100 Conway Avenue) was last paved in 1996 and is now budgeted for replacement in 2030; underground stormwater and sewer work associated with the proposed skate‑park area was discussed as necessary preparatory work. Staff said they are pursuing a memorandum of understanding with the neighboring municipality (Lower Merion) to be adopted in September and that grant funding will determine construction timing for the skate park and playground.
Committee members asked for clearer annotation in the CIP presentation (for example, distinguishing grant‑eligible line items and explaining the assumptions behind presented figures) and staff agreed to update the materials before the August business meeting.
