Council approves three residential design-review projects in unanimous votes

Council reviewed three planning items on the agenda and approved each by roll call with unanimous support. For 67 Bolinas Avenue, staff described demolition of an existing nonconforming residence and construction of a new two-story single-family home, with ADR recommendations incorporated; council adopted resolution 2605 approving design review, demolition, a nonconformity permit and variance.

For 2 Shanley (Chamlee Lane), staff explained a garage realignment, a new rectangular pool, and related setback variances; council adopted resolution 2600 approving the design review, minor exception and variance. For 10 Walnut Avenue, staff summarized landscape and pool-area improvements and replacement of a pool equipment shed requiring a nonconformity permit; council adopted resolution 2601 approving the requests. Each action included a staff condition that applicants submit a construction management plan prior to building permits.
