The Select Board approved the naming of a private roadway shown on a recorded survey and authorized 911 addressing for the lots that will be served by the new road.
Karen (presenting the plan) described the project: "There's a total of 5 new homes being built, possibly 6 ... A new road off of Route 30 ... that we would like to name Lucy's Lake," she said; the Chair helped clarify that the requested name for the right of way is "Lucy Lane" and that the survey will be recorded with the map and slide number. The motion as moved by the Chair approved the naming of the 30‑foot right of way marked on Lot 51 and adjoining lots, and allowed 911 numbers to be assigned for potential development.
Board members voted 'Aye' and the Clerk will contact 911 to obtain address numbers. Trustees and project contacts noted the local preference for the name (family nickname usage) and the plan will proceed pending recording and coordination with emergency‑addressing services.
