Mayor Grove singled out partner organizations and nonprofit groups for their work supporting residents during the storm, including warming‑station providers. Council also discussed practical follow‑up such as moving snow mounds away from stop signs and improving sight lines; Dreger noted loaders have been used to move snow away from curbs and that additional follow‑up is planned.
Council adopted a resolution establishing weather emergency pay at the same meeting, and several members linked the policy to recognizing employee storm work. No changes to pay rates were included in the minutes.
