Council OKs engineering contract and blower cabinet for wastewater treatment improvements

Councilmember Edwards introduced the items and Safety Service Director Dreger explained that Ordinance 015 closes parts of the construction project and that the cabinet addresses operational control needs. Councilmember Kiko requested clarification on the purpose of the spending; Dreger described the contracts as standard closeout and operational improvement steps. Both ordinances were adopted by unanimous roll call.
Contracts will be executed and procurement completed under the Director of Public Safety and Service; the minutes do not include detailed procurement timelines or estimated installation dates.
