"The result of that is a flat general fund budget at $35,900,000," said Daria Kryskis, the city's budget and strategy manager. The presentation also highlighted capital and special-revenue changes tied to a $30,000,000 bond issued this year and multiple ongoing projects. Staff flagged increases in health benefit costs (mitigated by a carrier change), investments in renewable energy infrastructure and debt service for previously authorized projects. No formal votes were taken at the hearing; the mayor moved to adjourn after public comment closed.
