City Attorney Jason Moran updated council that the old fire hall closing is scheduled for July 1, 2026, and reported an arson case resolved with the defendant sentenced to 180 days to be served in the Sibley County Jail.
Administrator Teresa Hill reported that painting a loading zone and signage resolved two-hour parking concerns in front of Brady’s and that an attempted sale of the old fire hall exhaust system did not proceed because the prospective buyer cited high installation costs; the exhaust system will remain with the building. Council adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
