Council accepts resignations, appoints Clean Energy member and approves tax refunds

At its Oct. 10 meeting the Avon Town Council accepted the resignation of Kim Stevenson from the Avon Clean Energy Commission and appointed Hayley Yaros to fill that vacancy with a term to expire Dec. 31, 2025. The Council also accepted the resignation of Fran Gurtman from the Recreation & Parks Committee and tabled a separate Recreation & Parks appointment until the Nov. 7 meeting.
Council approved motor vehicle tax refunds to Toyota Lease Trust ($1,043.44) and Ari Fleet Lt Ltd ($1,330.25), totaling $2,373.69, and a real estate tax refund to Daniel O’Sullivan for $5,456.83. All votes were unanimous.
