Avon council accepts $200,000 DEEP grant for Sperry Park softball field

Finance staff recorded the ordinance as a supplemental appropriation increasing both revenue (DEEP Sperry Park Grant, Account #020330-43306) and the corresponding capital project appropriation (Account #02-4829-53941).
All five council members present — Ausiello, Barthel, Bratton, Polhamus and Weber — voted in favor of the motion. The council’s written resolution directs the Board of Finance to amend the budget and proceed with the project spending under the specified capital accounts.
