Administrator Teresa Hill presented two sign proposals and council chose the lower-cost building sign as the immediate option. The building-mounted marquee from Sakatah Signs and Creations was priced at $2,861.18; the alternative street-facing sign was $6,363.72 and was left for future budget discussion.
Councilmembers emphasized budget constraints as the principal reason for selecting the building sign. Tim Smith moved to approve the marquee sign purchase, Jennifer Grobe seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Staff will proceed with contracting and scheduling installation.
