Waterville police introduce certified therapy dog Leo with oath of office

Chief Petrasek introduced Leo, an 8-month-old certified city therapy dog trained by Greg of Soldier 6 and donated by Heart of America Woodles. The chief thanked the council and the dog’s trainers and family for supporting the program and presented Leo with a badge supplied by his children.
Administrator Teresa Hill administered an oath of office for Leo, saying the pledge recognized Leo’s "mission to provide comfort, joy, and emotional support," and noted the dog would serve the Police Department and community.
