OCSD roll-call contest spotlights school spirit; first prize $1,000 announced

After performances from more than two dozen schools, district leaders announced the winners and prize amounts: third place (Edisto Elementary), second place (Edisto High) and first place (Edisto Primary).
Superintendent Dr. Sean Foster later confirmed the cash awards for the competition and praised participants for their energy and creativity. "We're gonna do a 2nd place, $500, and 3rd place, $250," Foster said while also noting that organizers would distribute checks for second and third places after the event.
