Oklahoma County excise board files City of Harris 2026-27 budgets totaling $10.97 million

The Oklahoma County Excise Board on Wednesday approved filings for the City of Harris' 2026-27 budgets, including a $10,973,923.36 general fund budget and a $7,567,350.67 Public Works Authority budget. Chair Eleanor Thompson read the figures during the special meeting called July 29 and the board then moved and voted to accept the filings.
County staff requested the filings as part of routine fiscal-year processing by the County Finance Department/Office of the County Clerk. There was no further discussion after members confirmed the amounts; a motion to approve was moved, seconded and carried with all members saying "Aye." The clerk will file the accepted documents with the appropriate state offices as part of the county's budget-filing process.
