On infrastructure, council members addressed Groom Road, saying the road will not be ready until 2027 due to complex subsurface and drainage issues; they stressed the road belongs to the state and that the city is coordinating with state agencies to address flooding. "Groom Road won't be ready to go until 2027," a council member said, and the body emphasized the importance of getting the work done correctly rather than quickly.
Council also discussed securing funding for a walking track and asked residents to leave suggestions in city boxes; they noted that small improvements to parks and tracks are forthcoming.
