Council adopts ordinance to advertise bids for Belleview tank rehabilitation

On third reading Council adopted Ordinance No. 2025-73 authorizing the city manager to advertise for bids and carry out functions necessary to complete the Belleview Tank Rehabilitation Project; Mayor Barilla declared the ordinance adopted and it takes effect Dec. 10, 2025.
On third and final reading the Steubenville City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2025-73, sponsored by the Public Utilities Committee (Messrs. Mayo, Hoover and Walker), authorizing the city manager to advertise for bids and to complete the necessary functions to carry out the Belleview Tank Rehabilitation Project.
Mayor Jerry Barilla announced the third and final reading and invited public comment; there were no speakers and Council member Hoover called the question. Roll call was taken and the motion carried with all ayes. Mayor Barilla declared the ordinance duly adopted; staff said the ordinance will take effect Dec. 10, 2025.
