Bay Village council adopts routine finance, procurement and zoning items

Items adopted included: a resolution authorizing sale of surplus equipment via internet auction under Ohio Revised Code 721.15; a resolution authorizing the finance director to participate in various cooperative purchasing programs; an amended 2026 appropriation ordinance recognizing year-end encumbrance shifts; and several then-and-now certificates to allow payment processing. Multiple emergency clauses and roll-call votes were recorded for ordinances and resolutions discussed during committees.
Council also placed a five-year composting agreement with the city of Westlake on first reading and approved routine planning motions for St. Raphael's event signage.
