Trust members reported that the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) has approved the Trust’s application for the requested $400,000 and for funding related to the WRAP and WERAP programs. The minutes state that the CPC approval enables the Trust to present the funding ask at the upcoming Town Meeting on March 28 at Westford Academy.
No substantive debate or vote on the CPC application occurred at the Trust meeting; the Trust’s role at this stage is to notify members and prepare materials for Town Meeting. Trust staff and members noted that outcomes at Town Meeting may affect the Trust’s financials and project scheduling.
Trust members and staff were reminded to attend Town Meeting; the Trust will report back after Town Meeting on the CPC outcome.
