The Limerick Township Board of Supervisors on a unanimous vote approved the preliminary/final plan resolution for SLD 26‑03, Lot 7 on Industrial Parkway, clearing the way for a self‑storage garage development.
Steve Clifton of Chesco Real Estate, the applicant, told the board the project is for storage units and said a security gate and sight‑distance triangle are shown on the plan. "We're here tonight for the resolution," Clifton said. Staff clarified that a previously requested sidewalk waiver had been converted to a deferral and that the plan shows sidewalk installation to be completed within one year of request. The applicant confirmed lighting and site access revisions had been addressed in plan updates.
Board members asked about fire suppression and were told the buildings fall below the square‑footage threshold requiring sprinklers under the Pennsylvania storage code. The Chair called for public comment; none was offered. The motion to approve the resolution passed with recorded votes in favor and one dissent on a related procedural question during earlier minute approvals. The board directed staff to finalize conditions and technical plan notes before recording.
