Communications staff provided the board with a preview of a summer mailer going to roughly 6,000 households that includes construction updates, back‑to‑school information and highlights from the past school year.
"Each of you has a copy of our summer mailer update... That will be hitting mailboxes this week," the communications presenter said. She also announced the district's rollout of ParentSquare, explaining that the board newsletter and the district's first district‑wide messages will be sent through the new platform this week and a dedicated web page has been created to house information.
Staff said the change to ParentSquare is intended to provide a single districtwide channel for families and to support broader outreach; they will monitor uptake and feedback after the initial mailing and first messages.
