Maura Sheehan delivered a handout identifying action items assigned to the EAC in the township sustainability plan, including resident education on stormwater, energy-efficiency and weatherization programs, promotion of alternative energy and locally sourced materials, ordinances encouraging carbon sequestration, and composting outreach.
Mandie Cantlin explained that "township building codes cannot be stricter than state ones" and that the township is adopting the county emergency preparedness plan.
