After nearly two hours of presentations and public testimony, the commission closed public comment by voice vote and adjourned without taking a tax vote.
A committee member moved to close public comment, the chair seconded, and the motion passed by voice vote. The chair said the commission will continue to review the budget, take comments under advisement, and plan to consider the tentative budget and any tax decisions at the commission meeting scheduled for Nov. 19. Commissioners also moved to adjourn; the meeting ended with unanimous voice votes recorded as "Aye."
