Resident urges Tinmouth to plan for aging-in-place options
Summary

Sherry (speaker 8), who identified herself as a citizen, told the commission she has been following the plan and is concerned there is little in the town plan about helping elderly residents stay in Tinmouth. She said, "people are leaving Tinmouth because they can't live by themselves," and asked the commission to consider aspirational goals or specific measures to enable aging in place.
Committee members responded that the commission could add language noting this concern and set an eight-year goal for the commission to explore whether it can be addressed. The exchange did not produce a formal policy change, but members acknowledged the issue and agreed it should be reflected in the draft plan for further consideration.
