Mr. Fisher presented the proposal and described it as a memorializing resolution for the January inclement-weather period. "I bring to you tonight a resolution to memorialize the board's authorization 28th, the inclement weather days," Fisher said. Trustee June W. Davis moved to approve the resolution and Trustee Kalisha Stevenson seconded; the board voted and the motion passed.
Trustees asked whether hourly and auxiliary staff were included. "This is specifically impactful to paraprofessionals and auxiliary personnel because they are hourly employees," Fisher confirmed. Board members heard that the resolution is intended to address hourly employees who were required to work during the storm.
The resolution was presented and approved on the consent of the board; no formal roll-call tally naming individual yes/no votes was recorded in the public transcript. The board returned to other agenda items following the vote.
