The Calumet County Planning, Zoning & Farmland Preservation Committee on Jan. 8 unanimously approved an alternative land‑division proposal to create a parcel for Randolph and Connie Koehler with less than the 150 feet of road frontage normally required under county ordinance.
Staff member Halada summarized the staff report and told the committee that the Town of Charlestown reviewed the proposal and had no objection; county staff recommended approval under Sec. 62‑52 of the Calumet County Land Division Ordinance. Budde moved to approve the alternative proposal and Kesler seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The hearing was opened at 8:31 a.m. and closed at 8:38 a.m.
The application listed the parcel location as NW 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 17, T18N, R20E, in the Town of Charlestown east of Irish Road, and identified the applicants as Randolph and Connie Koehler with agent Lisa Cullen of Sunset LLC. The committee record shows no abstentions or objections recorded during the vote; the committee then returned to its regular agenda.
