During the meeting the Public Utilities Committee read Ordinance No. 2025-78 for the first time. The measure would authorize the City Manager to apply for, accept and enter into a Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) agreement on behalf of the city to fund maintenance and rehabilitation of the Belleview tank and dedicate a repayment source for the loan.
The ordinance was presented by members of the Public Utilities Committee (Messrs. Mayo, Hoover and Walker) as a first reading. No final vote was taken on the ordinance at this meeting; the first reading places the ordinance on the legislative calendar for subsequent readings and potential adoption.
