City Manager Jim Mavromatis told the council the pool fence work is nearly finished and that only a small section remains near the baby pool. "The fence is just about completed. They have one small section over by the baby pool. So that's pretty much all. We're just about done there, and they'll fill it," he said.
Council Member Mayo raised a separate parks concern about lights being left on after someone accessed the box without a key; City Manager Mavromatis said he had directed staff the previous night to call a locksmith to replace or rekey the box. "I directed her last night to call a locksmith to get the box, if it needs a new box, put a new box or change the lock. So that is where it's at," Mavromatis said. No vote or further action was recorded beyond the direction to secure the box.
These updates were provided as part of committee and miscellaneous reports and were recorded as administrative updates rather than policy actions.
