The Lewistown Commission approved Resolution No. 4210 to grant additional Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds to Montana Days for façade improvements at 225 W Main, including sandstone window sill repairs and exterior restoration.
City Manager Phelps said the TIF Board recommended approval. Commissioner Buehler moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Spika seconded; Commissioners Buehler, Hewitt, Hrubes, Spika and Terry voted in favor while Chairman Day recused. Commissioners noted façade improvements help downtown revitalization and protect historic materials.
The project will proceed under TIF Board oversight and the city will release funds per TIF procedures.
